This policy explains how Orthotic Consultants Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on orthotic-consultants.com. Cookies are small files stored on your device. Embedded services can also receive information such as your IP address and browser details when they load.
You choose what to allow
Use Reject all to refuse optional cookies, Accept all to allow them, or Choose settings to select categories. Essential cookies remain available. Scrolling or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
You can reopen Cookie settings at any time using the link in our footer. Save your new choices to withdraw consent. The page reloads to apply your choice and stop services that were previously running. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent you reading our pages or contacting us.

Essential website functions and consent preferences
CookieYes remembers your choices using viewed_cookie_policy, CookieLawInfoConsent and category cookies beginning cookielawinfo-checkbox-. These preferences are stored for up to one year. Deleting them or using a different browser can cause the banner to appear again. They record your cookie choices rather than your clinical history.
WordPress may also use session and authentication cookies when authorised staff sign in. These are not required for ordinary visitors to read our public pages.
Analytics — optional
Google Analytics is installed through MonsterInsights to help us understand how people use the website. The analytics loader and tracking scripts are held until analytics consent is given. Google Analytics can use cookies beginning _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions. Their expiry depends on the Google Analytics configuration and can be renewed on subsequent visits. We remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies when analytics consent is withdrawn.
Please do not enter medical information into tracking fields. Analytics is separate from our confidential clinical records. We do not use cookie consent as permission to publish your patient story or send marketing emails.
Video and maps — optional functional services
Our introduction video is hosted by YouTube and the clinic map is supplied by Google Maps. These embeds wait until you enable the Functional category. When loaded, Google can receive technical information about your visit and may use cookies or browser storage. The cookies and their retention can vary according to your Google account, browser settings and interactions. You can also follow the external YouTube link; Google's own privacy choices then apply on its website.
Contact-form security
Our enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help detect spam and protect the service. This security service may receive device and interaction information and use security cookies. If you prefer not to use the form, email info@orthotic-consultants.com or call 0203 7459 616.
Appointment booking
Our booking page uses Cliniko to provide the appointment service you request. Information you enter is processed by Cliniko for booking and practice administration. The booking service has its own privacy information and may use technologies needed for its operation. Our optional analytics choices are separate from completing a booking.
Other categories in the settings panel
The consent tool also includes Performance, Advertisement and Others categories. Their presence does not by itself mean that an advertising campaign or a particular tracking service is running. Optional categories start switched off for new visitors. Any additional tracking introduced in future must be classified, described here and covered by an appropriate choice before use.
Managing stored cookies
You can delete cookies or block third-party cookies in your browser settings. This may remove saved preferences and affect embedded services. Our site cannot delete cookies stored by another website; use your browser or that provider's controls to remove them. Withdrawing consent stops future optional loading on our pages but does not undo processing that has already taken place.
