Zishan graduated in 2007 with an honours degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has provided his orthotic services to some of the leading NHS orthotic departments across the UK including; The Orthotics department at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt hospital in Oswestry and Southmead Hospital in Bristol to name a few.  He has built a strong rapport with many of the orthotics departments and is regularly employed on long term cover.

Over the years Zishan had noted that many NHS orthotic departments are often understaffed and have very long waiting lists. This tends to have a knock on effect on the treatment provided to the patient as delays in treatment often allow the condition the patient is suffering from to progress with symptoms often worsening. At the end of the line it is the patient who suffers most and this often leads to a rapid decline in their health.

Zishan set up Orthotic Consultants in 2010 with the aim of providing patients the very best in orthotic treatment with reduced waiting times from their initial assessment to the supply of their custom manufactured orthotics. Since 2010 Orthotic Consultants has developed into a leader of private orthotic services across London and surrounding areas.

Zishan carry’s out a Multi-Disciplinary Team approach to his orthotic treatment and is able to refer onto other disciplines i.e. Physiotherapists, Podiatrist, Osteopaths, Occupational health or if needed G.P’s and Consultants in their field of specialism. We work as part of team to get the best results for our patient’s.
